11 Months!

We have come so far on this baby journey and it has been wonderful!

We love you so much Ryder!

Oct 19 first two teeth!

Oct 26 4 Steps at Carson Park & 2 more teeth!

New foods: grilled tofu, butternut squash soup, pickles(first bite was this face above but, ended up liking them)

Loves giving kisses.

We love going to Barnes & Nobles for story time!

Reading is one of his favorite things to do and the easiest way to soothe him.

Mima came to visit!

Mima & Chuck with Ryder.

He is learning his boundaries and testing limits everyday.

Cheerio necklace is the best to have while shopping or cruising the Botanical Gardens.

Finally got a family shot at the gardens =)

Ryder can say banana now, well it's more like "Nana". We have a banana for breakfast every morning and he knows what to ask for. It is very rewarding when something clicks and he really has learned something new.

Our fall turned quickly into winter.

One of his favorite past-times is shredding paper and testing his strength.

Ryder now knows three signs, "milk", "more" and "dog".

It's amazing what you can get done around the house with one free hand and an eleven month old hanging on your hip.  I am so grateful for being able to stay at home with my little man everyday.

I can't wait to see how much you have grown on your one year check up!

Mommy & Baby Workout

I am no workout professional but, when I have a moment I do enjoy it.

Today, I started with a 1 mile walk to our local park.

...and a little swing time to keep baby happy!

3 reps of 10 squats with or without baby

3 reps of 10 lunges

I do as many push-ups as I can.

Core workout - 3 reps of 5

Ryder is 20 lbs and can get pretty heavy.  If your baby is too heavy you can always do body weight workouts.

Make sure to keep your baby happy!
I think Ryder had a pretty good day helping Mommy workout!

Ryder's 10 Month Update!!

My handsome little man is 10 months!

Wow, you have really kept me busy this month. I chase you around the house until its nap/bed time. There is no real down time until its almost time for bed.
Arts and crafts with the Mom Group.

These two just melt my heart!

Watching the Chargers game at Old Chicago.

Showing off his Vans.

First time in a bounce house!

Holding on to Dada at the car show.

He had his first smoothie!

Swing lover.

At the park picking at the grass.

We have a little obsession with Daniel Tiger.

This is how he claps.

His teeth have been killing him lately. I bought this mesh bag with a handle and you can fill it with fruit.  We tried frozen strawberries but he rather have apples to chomp on. We had one really rough day with teething and you were so exhausted you crashed out at 5:50pm for bed. Thankfully you still sleep through the night until 7:30/8am.

This guy wants to be on the move badly!  I will hold his hands and walk throughout the house until my back is about to break and he still wants to go! go! go!.

Have a great weekend!

Cousins

Last weekend we had my husbands family in town!
It was nice having everyone together.
This is Brooklynn, Ryder's cousin who is three weeks older.

These two were busy playing every second the had.

Of course we had to do a little Target shopping.

I wonder if hubby is ready for another baby...

Aren't these two just beautiful!

Kisses.

We took some family pictures at a near by park.

Grandpa and Shuggie

Can't wait to see you all again soon!
We miss you already!

Winter Crockpot Prep

As winter in Colorado approaches, I decided to prepare myself for the days I won't be able to go to the store. I started a frozen crockpot collection.
You can crock pot almost anything so I did some of our favorites. Here are the recipes I used:

Chicken or Turkey Tortilla Soup

Chicken Adobo (Sam the Cooking Guy)

Polska Kielbasa
Polska Kielbasa, Sauerkraut and Potatoes for 6hrs on low.

Chicken, Carrots and Potatoes

I bought a bunch of onions on a good deal so I chopped and froze them.  A good way to save time is to make a bunch of rice and freeze it too!

Get ready for the winter, fellow Coloradans!
