As winter in Colorado approaches, I decided to prepare myself for the days I won't be able to go to the store. I started a frozen crockpot collection. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT21XJtpl7H-cDcmTbcvVXAteHbevb0wmDWeYFLe59rOMORcncgMfzqhhep4mEvb3qDPzO9jwSzyZDuH3gQxNSuogtiVN5roVGM8MmXQBSwLJEC3X85GdPCTCqIUqIaobRVjKrOBmxxPQ/s400/blogger-image-529114285.jpg)

You can crock pot almost anything so I did some of our favorites. Here are the recipes I used:
Chicken or Turkey Tortilla Soup
Chicken Adobo (Sam the Cooking Guy)
Polska Kielbasa
Polska Kielbasa, Sauerkraut and Potatoes for 6hrs on low.
Chicken, Carrots and Potatoes
I bought a bunch of onions on a good deal so I chopped and froze them. A good way to save time is to make a bunch of rice and freeze it too!
Get ready for the winter, fellow Coloradans!
